Nestled in Brookhaven, Mississippi, Oakwood Farm is a small family farm built on the belief that we are called to be good stewards of what God has entrusted to us. From the land we care for to the animals we raise, we strive to do things with purpose, integrity, and gratitude.
At the heart of our farm are our Dexter cattle. We focus on raising quality Dexter breeding stock for families who want to become more self-sufficient, start a homestead, or add a versatile family cow to their property. Known for their smaller size, manageable nature, and versatility, Dexters can be an excellent choice for small-acreage farms and homesteads.
Our goal is not simply to sell cattle. We want to help other families experience the rewards of raising their own livestock and producing food closer to home. Whether you are purchasing your first cow or expanding an established herd, we strive to provide healthy, well-cared-for breeding stock and a positive experience as you build your own homestead.
