Oakwood Farms | Brookhaven, Mississippi

Expected Arrival: Spring 2027

Our next generation of Dexter cattle is on the way!

Oakwood Farms is excited to announce our anticipated Spring 2027 Dexter calf crop! We are dedicated to raising quality, registered Dexter cattle with desirable genetics, sound conformation, and gentle dispositions—perfect for homesteaders, small farms, and those looking to establish or expand their breeding herds.

Our breeding program emphasizes:

PDCA Registered Bloodlines – Documented pedigrees through the Purebred Dexter Cattle Association
A2/A2 Genetics – A desirable beta-casein milk protein trait for dual-purpose homesteading cattle
Chondro-Negative Breeding Stock – Genetically tested for responsible breeding
UC Davis Genetic Profiling – Genetic documentation available
Quality & Temperament – Carefully selected breeding stock with an emphasis on health, conformation, and manageable dispositions

Calf availability, sex, coloring, individual genetic results, and pricing will be announced following their arrival. Registration eligibility and documentation will be confirmed for each calf.
